Recording and consent.

1. Why we record

Satsang is recorded so the teaching can be published on Vishrant's website, YouTube, and social channels. This lets people who cannot attend in person or online still sit with the work. Recording is part of how the teaching is shared, not an afterthought.

2. These sessions are recorded, and camera on is required

Satsang is recorded so the teaching can be published. Taking part means appearing on camera. We tell you this before you book, so the choice to join is yours.

When you register, you confirm that you agree to be recorded and published. If you would rather not appear on camera, please do not book a place. Joining a session is your agreement to these terms.

3. What you consent to

By booking and joining, you consent to your image, voice, questions, and participation being recorded and published on the channels listed in section 5. Attending Satsang reveals an interest in spiritual teaching, which is personal to you, so we ask for this consent clearly and in advance, and we treat footage that identifies you as sensitive.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by leaving the session. Withdrawing stops any further recording of you from that point. To have an earlier recording removed, see section 6.

4. Adults only

Because every session is recorded and camera on is required, Satsang is for adults only. If you are under 18, please do not book a place.

5. Where recordings are published

Recordings may appear on:

• www.vishrant.org and related Vishrant websites;
• Vishrant's YouTube channel;
• Vishrant's social media channels;
• online courses and other Vishrant teaching platforms.

These services may store data outside Australia, including in the United States. Publishing to a public platform means a recording can be viewed, shared, and indexed by search engines. Once something is public and shared onward, we cannot guarantee every copy can be recalled.

6. Your rights and how to withdraw

You can change your mind. To have a recording of yourself removed, blurred, or muted, email info@vishrant.org with enough detail for us to find the moment (the date of the Satsang and roughly when you appear).

You may also ask us to:

• tell you what recordings of you we hold and how we use them;
• correct information that is wrong;
• delete footage that identifies you, where we are able to.

We act on every request and aim to respond within 30 days. A live broadcast cannot be recalled while it is happening, but we will remove or edit the saved recording afterwards.

7. Visitors in the UK and the European Union

Because Satsang is streamed internationally, attendees in the United Kingdom and the European Union have additional rights under the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR. These include the right to withdraw consent at any time, the right to erasure, and the right to complain to your local data protection authority. We rely on your explicit consent to record and publish footage that identifies you, and you can withdraw that consent using the contact below.

8. Featured use

If we want to feature you up close in promotion, for example an extended excerpt or a testimonial, we will ask you separately and in writing. The general consent on this page does not cover that use.
