Vishrant seated before a golden Buddha

A seven day retreat with Vishrant

Enlightenment Opportunity Retreat.

Awakened teachers who can hold a Buddha Field are rare. Rarer still are those who can do the second half of the job: speak with you directly, see the beliefs and old wounding your mind is built on, and walk you through undoing them.

Vishrant does both. Six hours of Satsang a day, around twenty-one hours of direct work across the week. Whether you have been on the path for thirty years or are brand new, wherever you are in the world, he meets you where you are and can help guide you home.

What seven days does.

You become conscious of the patterns running your life

The beliefs, the defences, the habits you have never questioned because you could not see them. Most people leave having seen things about themselves they had walked past for decades, with a clearer sense of how their mind operates and what stands between them and the perception of love and enlightenment.

Your mind goes quiet

Being in the presence of an awake teacher means being in a Buddha Field, and it transmits silence, stillness, clarity and love. Participants report deep calm, a quiet mind, bliss, and enough space to begin to see the mind rather than be run by it. That space is the ground meditation and self-inquiry need.

It changes how you live afterwards

Silent retreats can be profound while you are there and hard to carry into daily life. Vishrant's teachings are built for the marketplace. You come home less reactive, more relaxed, more open, and in greater acceptance of life as it is, creating the conditions for a mind that can support awakening.

01 / What you're booking

Seven days to see what's actually in your way.

Each day: three live Satsangs with Vishrant, one group meeting with him, and a guided morning meditation. Across the week that is twenty-one Satsangs, seven group meetings and seven guided sits. All live, all online, all inside the Buddha Field.

Seven days is the longest stretch of the year, and it lets the work with Vishrant deepen. What felt impossible to see on day one becomes clearer by day five.

02 / The shape of each day

The structure that lets the mind finally slow down.

The same rhythm runs all seven days. All times are Australian Western Standard Time, AWST, UTC+8. Convert to your own timezone before you book.

Join from anywhere in the world. Every session is recorded, so if a live one lands at an awkward hour you watch the replay whenever it suits you. Replays are available for 48 hours after the retreat ends.

04 / Questions people ask before booking

The questions that come before the yes.

Does it actually work online?

This is the one almost everyone asks. Here is what people say afterwards.

I was surprised how good it is online; how strong the Buddha Field is. It feels like Vishrant is literally right in front of you on the screen. It feels like you invite him into your living room, and you can just be there with him.
Bodhidharma, Germany

Abhayi searched all over India for an awake teacher and struggled to get access to one, until she met Vishrant:

The online retreat is amazing, because when you engage with Vishrant, your mind is blown, and you really get that clarity; something you won't get otherwise. You can read anything, practise anything, do whatever you want to do, but the clarity you get when you talk to him is amazing. Online is almost like the real thing, like meeting in person.
Abhayi, India

Shunya runs retreats herself:

I've been attending retreats in person. I've never attended retreats online, but the experience online was more powerful than any other experience for the in-person retreats.
Shunya, Bali

And Udita, who has sat in the places where it supposedly only happens in person:

At first I wasn't sure it's really possible to feel the Buddha Field online. And when I spoke to him, it just blew my mind. It feels exactly the same as when I was sitting in the mountain where Ramana Maharshi awoke. If you've been to enough places where awake people have sat, you recognise this fragrance. It's the same.
Udita, Vietnam
Wouldn't in person be better?

Not necessarily, and for some people it is the opposite. Being at home turns out to lower the barrier rather than raise it.

I actually really enjoyed being at home. The comfort of my home actually helped me relax more, and it felt more intimate, because when I would talk to Vishrant, I would only see him, so I felt more open to just tell him everything that was on my mind. Versus in person, it can feel a bit more overwhelming and scary because all these people are listening and watching you. And at home, I was just in my PJs.
Sahaja, USA

You also don't need to book flights or find somewhere to stay. For most people that's the difference between doing this and putting it off another year.

Will I actually get to speak with him?

Yes, and more than most people expect. You raise your hand.

What really strikes me with Vishrant is how available he is. It's just mind blowing that I can just speak to him so readily. I just need to raise my hand, and he will take my question, and he's able to actually keep track of what's happening in my life personally and read me energetically and give me personal guidance.
Ambar, France, who has also sat with Mooji and John de Ruiter
What happens in the sessions where I don't speak?

Vishrant works with one person at a time, in a group format. Most of the week you are listening. That turns out to be half of it.

One of the things that stood out most for me was the profound sense of unity and oneness within the retreat. Even when I wasn't asking questions myself, I often found that while listening to others share, Vishrant would answer questions I didn't even know I had. His responses seemed to reach far beyond the individual person and speak directly to something within me. Through this, I developed a much deeper understanding of how my mind operates, the patterns that keep me limited, and the possibility of going beyond them. The retreat gave me an opportunity to move beyond the mind and discover a deep sense of love, stillness, and connection with life and the universe. It is an experience that continues to stay with me long after the retreat has ended.
Kai, Australia
I've been doing this a long time. Is there anything here for me?

Some of the participants who get the most from a retreat have been at it longest.

Om has been a seeker for forty years. First Osho, then Gangaji, Adyashanti, Paul Lowe. He has had two satoris, glimpses of enlightenment, that lasted from a few weeks to several months. Enlightenment did not remain.

If you haven't dealt with your wounding, situations are going to come up and trigger you. Sooner or later it's going to pull you out of that back into identification. That's what happened with me. The non-duality methodology doesn't confront your stuff. What I appreciate about Vishrant is it's more grounded, earthlier, more here now. More embodied in your life.
Om, USA

Udita came from the other direction. Long-term monastic practice, ten years on the path, sitting with teachers including Sadhguru.

I found beingness by myself, and it just stopped there. I was all by myself, so I don't know what's next. I kept looking for someone who really speaks the language of the marketplace, stays in the marketplace, and skips all the holy. If you're really spiritual, you should look absolutely ordinary.
Udita, Vietnam

And if you suspect you are past being taught anything:

Some of the questions that people have in the Satsang sometimes are questions that you are afraid of asking, or there are questions that you think are insignificant, or a question that you think you already have the answer to what he's going to say about it. It makes you feel more comfortable to ask that question or ask other questions that you maybe had some shame about. So I think seeing other people's experiences is really encouraging to open up and ask your own questions.
Aaron, USA
I'm completely new to this. Am I out of my depth?

All seekers are welcome, wherever they are. He meets people where they are.

I came to Vishrant as a total beginner and unaware that there was any work that needed to be done on my mind. I also had no idea about a Buddha Field and wasn't well versed in Buddhism. It didn't matter. He met me exactly where I was. There was no requirement to already understand and no spiritual vocabulary I had to master first. In fact, it seems that the less burdened with knowledge you are, the better.
Prema, Australia
Is it worth the money?
I thought, is doing it online going to be worth the price, or would it be more valuable if I was there in person? Then actually attending the retreat online and experiencing what I did off the back of that, I was like, okay, that was invaluable.
Saral
